Record a republished or sold listing

Update the CarSocial record after confirming the real listing status.

Before you begin

Have these ready

  • One imported vehicle open in the CarSocial editor
  • The original dealer page open for comparison
  1. 01

    Compare the vehicle identity

Verify year, make, model, condition, VIN or stock number, and inventory type against the dealer page.

  2. 02

    Confirm price and mileage

Check the displayed price, mileage value, and mileage unit. Do not assume miles when the source dealer uses kilometers.

  3. 03

    Inspect every selected photo

Confirm the photos belong to the same vehicle, are useful, are not duplicate placeholders, and appear in the intended order.

  4. 04

    Read the listing copy

Review the title, description, seller contact information, and editable Marketplace details. Remove unsupported claims about title status or financing. Cosmetic condition does not establish a clean legal title.

  5. 05

Save and resolve anything marked incomplete

Save changes. If CarSocial identifies missing data or photos, complete those items before attempting to publish.

Important

The source page is the reference

CarSocial accelerates preparation, but the seller remains responsible for verifying the final price, condition, photos, and claims before publication.

You are done when

The vehicle has photos and all required details needed for the publish readiness check.
