Review a Facebook price change

Check the old and new price before allowing a live listing update.

The confirmation is cancelled in this demonstration; no live price is changed.

Before you begin

Have these ready

  • An existing seller profile
  • The current source price for each affected vehicle
  1. 01

    Choose the import pricing source

In Settings, use Pricing rule to choose website metadata/schema, Internet/Sale/Final price, dealer-advertised price, MSRP or Manual. Save profile. The rule applies to future imports; it is not a bulk rewrite of existing listings.

  2. 02

    Understand Manual pricing

Manual preserves an existing local price. A new vehicle remains pending a price until you enter and review one. Always compare the imported value with the intended advertised price.

  3. 03

    Edit draft prices in bulk

Select the intended inventory rows and choose Edit prices. Review the fixed or percentage adjustment and every resulting value. Save unpublished applies to unpublished vehicles; published listings are excluded from that local-only action.

  4. 04

Update a published Facebook price separately

Open the published vehicle, enter the reviewed new value and choose Update Facebook price. Read the old and new prices in the confirmation. Continuing updates the existing listing, not a new publication; Cancel leaves the confirmed price unchanged.

  5. 05

    Inspect the outcome

CarSocial saves the new confirmed price after Facebook confirms the update. If the operation fails or ends ambiguously, inspect the live listing before trying again. Use View vehicle on Facebook to check the result.

Important

Saving a draft is not a Facebook price update

The ordinary Save changes action does not silently overwrite the confirmed price of an already-published listing. Use the explicit Facebook price workflow for that change.

You are done when

Draft prices and live Facebook prices are changed through the appropriate reviewed workflow.
